Awarded to any member of STARFLEET Medical who demonstrates distinguished service and achievement in keeping with the ideals and tradition of STARLEET Medical.

Recommendation for this award can be made by the DSG/ Chief of Operations/ ASG
Surgeon General's Commendation
Awarded to any member of STARFLEET Medical who demonstrates exemplary service and achievement in keeping with the ideals and tradition of STARLEET Medical.
Can be awarded as Bronze, Silver or Gold.
- Bronze Awards would typically reflect service at the SFMedical Chapter level.
- Silver Awards would typically reflect service at the SFMedical Regional level.
- Gold Awards would typically reflect service at the SFMedical Fleet level.

STARFLEET MEDICAL SERVICE AWARD
Awarded to any member of Starfleet Medical who completes one year of service. (Bronze award)
Additional awards are given:
- At the completion of 3 years service (Silver award)
- At the completion of 5 years service (Gold award)
- At 5-year intervals thereafter. (Bars to the gold award)

Phlox Award for Group Effort
Awarded for exemplary group activity and achievement that is in keeping with the goals of STARFLEET Medical.
The activity must demonstrate cooperation between at least two groups, one of which must be STARFLEET Medical on at least the Regional level. This activity should be completed within a calendar year. This award cannot be obtained by individuals.

Recommendation for work at the Regional level should be made by the relevant ASG
