Description: Walking offers numerous health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, weight management, and reduced risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. It can also strengthen bones and muscles, improve balance and coordination, and boost mood and energy levels. Additionally, walking can help manage conditions like high blood pressure and cholesterol, and even reduce the risk of certain cancers. (link)
Steps should be reported at the end of each month to your Assistant Surgeon General.

There’ll be a live leaderboard on the bottom of this website where we’ll show off the top-stepping Regions each month. And here’s the fun part – at the end of each month and the year, the “Steppiest Region” and “Steppiest member” will earn a special certificate and bragging rights!
